Miss Earth Cuba 2024 Pageant was held on 22 June 2024 in Miami, FL. The final crowning gala at the Historic Seminole Theater of Homestead, Florida presented by NBNC Nuestra Belleza Nacional Cuba, the franchise holder and responsible for sending the representative of Cuba. The crowned winner is 19 year old Stephany Diaz. She was crowned by Sheyla Ravelo Perez (Miss Earth Cuba 2022) along with Monica Aguilar (Miss Earth Cuba 2018) and Ariana Barouk (Miss Earth Cuba 2007) during the annual competition. She represented the Title of Miss Isla de la Juventud and was awarded the Title of Best Interview. Stephany will represent Cuba this fall at Miss Earth 2024 in the Philippines.
Stephany Diaz is a born native of Guines, Cuba and migrated to the United States at the age of 5. Some special fact about her family is that there is an Ancestral Mix between African and Spanish descent. Her great-grandparents fled to Cuba to escape the Spanish Civil War happening in the Canary Islands. This rich heritage has deeply influenced her family’s cultural identity. This is symbolic of the cultural heritage present in Cuba.
She recently completed her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and is currently attending law school with the aspiration to work as an Advocate in a Non-Profit Organization. She has also been on the Dean’s List. She is dedicated to reducing overconsumption within the Food Industry. As someone vegetarian for 5 years, this is near and dear to her heart. She provides people with the resources and knowledge to be able to reduce their impact through plant-based food alternatives, as they reduce Emissions, Pollution, and Waste. Through these efforts, she has been able to influence people to make more deliberate choices for their health and the Environment.
During her reign, Stephany has made several appearances at community events such as Adopt a Meal for the Ronald McDonald House of Charities, Making Strides for Breast Cancer Awareness, World Cleanup day, Miami–Dade College Kids and Family Festival, Red Carpet events for Original Living Magazine Cover Party, and Mayor’s Ball for the City of Hialeah, Florida. She has also made some media such as interviews for Arky Hawk TV, interviews for Miss Earth Beauties, press conferences for the Augural Hollywood Beach Swim Week and press conferences for the celebration of the Independence of Honduras.
Miss Earth is an annual international environmental-themed beauty pageant competition promoting environmental awareness, conservation, and social responsibility. Miss Earth is part of the big 4 four major international beauty pageants next to Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss International.
